Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bloom mobile application ("App") developed by Isabel Laurenceau ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
Bloom is a personal coffee recipe and pour timer app. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its backend services.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Transmit any content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.
2. Accounts
To use cloud sync features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at bloom.cups.clocks@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of the recipes and content you create in the App. By storing content in the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the App's features to you. We do not share your recipes or content with other users or third parties.
4. Intellectual Property
The App and all its content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to design, text, graphics, and code) are owned by Isabel Laurenceau and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our express written permission.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Apple Sign-In for authentication. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. You may delete your account from within the App (Profile › Settings › Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
